Ashley Moore, U16 & U17 National Team, commits to UNC
Moore has chosen to stay home this summer and play for the Lynx because she felt she really wanted to focus on training. Anson Dorance, Head Coach for UNC, has made it clear to her the expectations needed to play for a team of UNC's caliber. She feels that with less travel this summer and more time to work out with the Lynx should really elevate her game. Moore should turn out to be a local fan favorite this summer because the Lynx will be playing 3 home games right in her "backyard" at the Clifton Commons.  |
Academy News Summer Soccer SchoolU12, U14, and U16 Summer League Teams Forming. The Adirondack Lynx Summer Soccer School is a unique 10-week training program for girls at the U12, U14, and U16 levels. The 10 weeks of training is meant to compliment a players club team schedule. Along with the training, the players will compete in a 10-12 game schedule in the Youth Premier Soccer League on 4-5 festival type weekends...More Info >> Schedule

Saturday, July 12, 2008 - The Lynx went down 2 goals in the first 10 minutes. This really motivated them to play and held the undefeated CT. Reds scoreless the rest of the first half. After giving up a third goal after the intermission, Jill Arnault scored for the Adirondack Lynx. This is only the second goal the Reds have conceded all season. The final score was 4-1. 
Saturday, July 6, 2008 - The Adirondack Lynx went down early in the match. Not in goals but in players that started the game. By halftime the lynx were only down a goal. Unfortunately, three starters could not return to the match. This seemed to be the difference as the Aztecs scored 5 second half goals. 
Saturday, June 29, 2008 - Boston who had been sitting just ahead of the Lynx in the league standings had to settle for a draw on the road. It was Adirondack who got on the board first when Kylee Litchfield hit a blast into the upper 90. In injury time of the first half, the Aztecs got the equalizer. The game would end tied 1-1. 
Saturday, June 21, 2008 - For the second weekend in a row, Adirondack has lost to last years WPSL National finalist, the New England Mutiny. The Mutiny looked even stronger in a home match where they won 6-0. The Mutiny are gearing up for a another run to the National Finals and was not going to let the Lynx get in their way. as it was gearing 
Saturday, June 14, 2008 - The Mutiny got out to a quick lead scoring in the 8th, 10th, 11th and 26th minute. With a final score of 4-0, Adirondack settled in to play and held the mutiny scoreless for the final 64 minutes. Meghan Sleezer had a strong effort in goal as she kept the mutiny scoreless in the second Half. 
Monday, June 9, 2008 - The Lynx had a solid weekend road trip. In a courageous effort on Saturday they lost to the Maine Tide 3-1.On Sunday they turned it around and beat the Mass Stingers for the second time this season 5-0. 
Saturday, May 31, 2008 - The Lynx came out of their scoring drought in a big way. They scored a 5-2 win over the Massachusetts Stingers on Saturday night. Scoring for A'dack was led by Katie Gardiner with 2 goals, while Jill Arnault, Shona Franklin, and Mary Velan scored 1 a piece.

Friday, May 27, 2008 - The Adirondack Lynx traveled to New Britain CT and lost 5-0 in their first road trip of the season. CT moves to 3-0 averaging 5 goals a game.
