A'Cats and Lynx Announce Partnership
Adirondack Lynx join the Albany Alleycats Premier Soccer Club as the Pinnacle of their Program.

The Albany Alley Cats and Adirondack Lynx are pooling their resources. The A'cats come to the table with the some of the best girls teams in Eastern NY. The Lynx bring the coaching resources from its 4 year run in the WPSL...One of the top 5 women's leagues in the World! This summer the organization will field a U20/23 team while it works on plans to return to the WPSL in 2011-2012.

Albany, NY May 11, 2010 - The Albany Alleycats and the Adirondack Lynx Elite Female Soccer Academy are pleased to announce a partnership with the two organizations. The Adirondack Lynx have become part of the Alley cat organization. In doing so, the coaching/administrative staff of the Adirondack Lynx will take over the training/administration of the U16-U17-U18 Alleycats Soccer teams. The Alleycats will sponsor the addition of a U20 team to their club for this summer with the ultimate goal of supporting the return of Adirondack Lynx WPSL team in 2011. This would create the only girls side in the area with teams playing at every age group from U8 to the amateur level.
The past four years the Adirondack Lynx Elite Female Soccer Academy, founded by PJ Motsiff in 2004, has provided both adult and youth programs of all ages. The WPSL team has provided Olympic, National team, youth national team, and top division I, II, III female soccer players a home during the summer months. This environment has allowed players to return to their collegiate teams much more prepared and successful.
The Alleycats are one of the most successful soccer clubs in NY state, offering a wide variety of soccer programs for children and adults of all ages and skill levels. The partnership was formed to combine resources and to provide better opportunities for the female players in the Albany, NY area. The result of the merger should assist with…

4. Performance at regional and national levels
5. To create an integrated program from the junior levels to amateur teams..
The recreational opportunities will increase with professional coaches teaching and training within those programs to enhance player development.
