Adirondack Beats Bay State Select for its First Win of the Season

Kylie Watt, was voted the offensive player of the game in the Lynx opening match vs the Bay State Select. Watt is headed to UNC in the fall.

Easton, MA. –The Adirondack Lynx began the 2009 season on a positive note. It took all 90 minutes to pull out the victory. Kylie Watt a senior in high school was the offensive MVP. In the second half, with the Lynx down 1-0, Kylie Scored in the 57th minute to tie the game. Then with time dwindling down Kylee found Hayle George for the game winner.

The first half was not as kind, as the Lynx found themselves down 1-0 at halftime. In the 16th minute Steph Gordon punted a ball over the Adirondack Lynx. This initiated a foot race that was won by Jenn Leaverton. Leaverton, took the ball nd sent it gently.

The Adirondack Lynx return to action this friday night from 7pm-9pm when they have rematch at Golden Goal

Halie George, scored the game winner in the 90th minute to start the seson off with a win..

Becca Lee played an incredible game at central midfield. She was voted Defnsive mvp.
