Gary Pritchard, a mental conditioning coach, has agreed to work with the Adirondack Lynx to bring the highest level of training to the Athletes that will be playing with the Lynx this summer.

Gary Pritchard is from Ramsey, NJ. His organization, Will Beats Skill, offers a wide range of programs for soccer players, as well as other sports. Gary helps athletes by giving them all of the tools he/she needs to compete consistently at an elite level.

Coach Gary, states, "There are 4 pillars to the game of soccer; technical, tactical, fitness, and mental. My job is to help players get themselves in a zone where they are focused and able to cocentrate on an end result. Through mental imagery we can train the body so that it begins to develop muscle memory allowing players to have more confidence. ”

Focus, Focus, Focus, will be Gary Pritchard's theme this summer with the WPSL team. He will be setting up many mental conditioning activities that force the team to think outside the "box" and play as elite athletes on a consistent basis.

Lynx Owner/GM, PJ Motsiff is excited to have Gary be returning this summer to his role with the WPSL team and notes, "As a soccer coach I have watched Gary work magic with athletes that really need to "train their brains". Gary leaves players brimming with confidence after his sessions." In 2007 Gary helped Ramsey High School win NJ State Title. Midway through the season, Gary was approached by the school coach to come speak with his players. Ramsey was on a slide in a negative direction because they lost a number of key games toward the end of the season. Through meetings in weekly sessions, Coach Gary had everyone of those kids prepared to deal with the most difficult situations. The team ended up winning 3-1 after being down most of the game 1-0.

"Gary has been working with our female academy players for 2 years. The confidence and consistency that these players have when they step on the pitch is amazing. Having Gary involved this summer -- will allow our WPSL players to truly develop as individual players and as a team," stated Motsiff.

Pritchard doesn't only work with athletes, he also works with schools. He has created programs and training for local and youth sports too. AD provides their training services to a wide variety of sports, not just soccer of course. For more information on Mental Conditioning go to http://www.willbeatskill.com/ .
