Puma joins with Lynx as Official Equipment Supplier & Partner

3 year partnership includes clothing, equipment and supplies

The Adirondack Lynx have joined in a agreement with Puma to supply its team kit, practice gear and training equipment for three years starting July 2006. Puma will adopt the role of the Club’s Official Equipment Supplier.

Peter Wirfel, Adirondack Lynx team owner noted, "We are very fortunate to have partnered with Puma in our first year in the Women's Premier Soccer League. I think they really understand what it means to partner with a team playing at our level. I look forward to being able to strengthen our relationship with them through the coming years, and to grow with them ".

Puma already has a long list of sports partners including the Italian National Soccer Team, and Ferrari Formula One Circuit and a stable of athlete advocates including international soccer players Michael Dawson, Michael Carrick, Jermaine Jenas, Eto’o among many others.

Pele has also partnered with Puma for the 2006 Wold Cup this year, so while the eyes of the world focus on Germany as the host nation, he will in the forefront of promotions. This will position him as Puma's ambassador while the active sponsored athletes in the Cup will still promote the brand's technical products on the pitch. "I am very pleased to be working with Puma once again," said Pele. " Over the years Puma has been my brand, and it is great to reunite with them so we can create some excitement."

In addition to partnering with the Lynx, Puma is also be the Official Technical Supplier of on-field, sideline, training and representation apparel as well to 12 national teams at the World Cup in Germany. So the Lynx are in good company by parnering with Puma.
