A four-year starter (2000-2003) and two year Captain (2002-2003) at the Division One University of Buffalo, McGarry played a key role in the team’s defense.  In 2000 she helped the team capture their first ever title of Mid-American Conference Champions and was pegged Rookie of the Year. 

Playing for Fitzpatrick at Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School, McGarry was named First Team All-State, Section II Class A Player of the Year and US Army Reserve Female Athlete of the Year (1999).

Outside of the soccer world, Erin is a multi-sport athlete and continues to train for her first Ironman debut, while prosperously revisiting her skills and love of the best game in existence. McGarry is also a freelance journalist, and often researches and writes articles and game reports for the Adirondack Lynx Organization.
