Heidi Reece is a local standout that helped Hoosick Falls capture a NYS Championship in 2005. Reece then went on to play collegiately at St. Anselm in New Hampshire.

First team All-NY State and NCAA All-New England player, Heidi Reece (Hoosick Falls, NY) out of Saint Anselm College in NH will bring her talent to the Adirondack Lynx. Reece was a local stand-out helping her High School team win a NY state championship in 2005.

During Reece's senior year she helped Hoosick Falls capture a NYS Championship. In doing so she was also named to the NYS first team by scoring over 30 goals.

At Saint Anselm Reece has started in 56 game over the last three seasons. In that time she has accrued 15 goals and has had 10 assists.

In 2007, Reece played a couple matches with the Adirondack Lynx before heading back to school early to take summer courses. Head Coach/GM of the Lynx, PJ Motsiff felt, "Heidi proved that she can play at this level. She is a physical player that likes to be around the ball. Her size makes her a target player that we will look to use to our advantage this season."
