Jen was redshirted this year at Siena because of the NCAA transfer rule. Prior to this Jen spent 2 years at Canisius College. In 2003 she was the Canisius College rookie of the year.

Jen was touted very highly by a number of colleges when she was in high school. She attended the Academy of the Holy Names and was named MVP of her team 2 years in a row.

Jen was an All Colonial Council first team for 3 years and an All Capital DIstrict first team selection for 2 years. In 2002 she was selected as the Class B player of the year as well as making All State.
