Melissa Hagmire is a 2005 graduate of Livonia High School in the Rochester, NY area. She currently plays soccer at Franklin Pierce University. In 2007 she was an All league candidate and was named to the academic all-American team. Hagmire started all 25 games for the Ravens in helping them to the 2007 NCAA Division 2 National Championship.

Hagmire has really worked to secure her role in the starting lineup at Franklin Pierce. In 2006 she played in ten matches as part of a defensive unit which ranked 27th nationally with a 0.76 team goals against average and nine shutouts. 2005 saw Hagmire play in 14 matches for the perennial division II powerhouse Franklin Pierce.

PJ Motsiff, general manager said, " We have one of the finest defensive players at Pierce in Hagmire. She was part of a defense that did not give up a goal in their post season run to the NCAA Division II Championships in 2007. She can play!"
