Rachel Sushner led Skidmore College this past fall to its first NCAA tournament appearance in 12 years. The former liberty league rookie player of the year was selected as an All-NY first team player by the NSCAA

Rachael Sushner (Potomac, MD), former Liberty League Rookie of the Year for Skidmore College has completed her NCAA eligibility. She plans to continue her playing career with the Adirondack Lynx this summer.

In her college career, Sushner has scored 32 goals and had 10 assists for a total of 74 points. Amazingly of those 32 goals over half (17) of them were game winners!

Sushner really stood out in 2008 as she scored 10 goals and had 4 assists. She was named to the NSCAA All-region team, All-Liberty League first team and Liberty league championship team!

"Rachael had an opportunity last year to play for the Adirondack Lynx. I felt in those 90 minutes she really stood out and proved that she can play at this level. I am positive her success this past fall at Skidmore will carry over to the Lynx.
