Sara Wild (Portland, OR), a DIII First Team All New England player from Williams College has chosen to improve her game by staying with the Adirondack Lynx.

Sara Wild, a 2008 NSCAA first team All-New England College Player at Williams College will stay on the east coast to play soccer and train for her junior year. Wild is from Portland, Oregon, where she was a high school standout in track and soccer. Wild, out of Grant high School was a state champion in the middle distances and she also captained her soccer team to s state championship as well.

Michelle Pinard, head coach at Williams sums up Sara as having the complete package, "Sara gets it done in the classroom as well as in athletic competitions. She demands a lot of herself. Not only was she an Oregon State Champion in Soccer and Track and Field but she was ranked number 1 academically in her class of 400 students. Sara is 5'11" and has a presence on the field. She really has helped bring our nationally ranked program to where it is today. "

PJ Motsiff, Lynx General Manager/Owner is excited, "Sara will be joining Chelsea Berry (Syracuse University) on this years team. Those two ladies are multi-sport athletes at their respective colleges. They will give opposing teams fits due to the speed they possess. Sara will be playing in the midfield for the Lynx and I expect she will be on the receiving end of many restarts around the goal area."
