Taryn Welker has been a huge part of Franklin Pierce Universities success over the past 4 years as she played in and started 24 matches as a defender this year. She only scored one goal, but it was an important one! Welker scored the game winner in a 2-0 win over undefeated Seattle Pacific to send the Ravens to the 2007 NCAA Division 2 National Championship.

Taryn Welker has had an incredible career for the Franklin Pierce Ravens. In four years she has helped her team to 3 league titles, 2 trips to the NCAA final four and this past season...NCAA Division II Finalists!
In 2006 Welker played 21 matches and had a prominent role in the Ravens defensive unit which ranked 27th nationally with a 0.76 team goals against average and nine shutouts. 2005 saw Welker play in 23 matches while helping her team get to the NCAA Division 2 Final Four. In 2004 she played in 21 matches as a true freshman.
Taryn is a 2003 graduate of Conestoga High School. She was a Three-year starter while Earning multiple All-Conference and All-District honors. Her teams have won district and central league titles.
