Tessa MacDougall

Tessa MacDougall, a top player out of British Columbia, Canada will join other Syracuse players this summer while playing for the Adirondack Lynx.

Tessa MacDougall (Surrey, British Columbia), 2009 captain for the Orange Women of Syracuse will add more fire power up front for the Adirondack Lynx.

Tessa is a 2006 graduate of the Surrey School, Canada. There she scored 17 goals in 17 games for her club team (BC Provincial team). In 2005 she was a member of the Canada Games Gold Medal team as a striker. In 2004, she was a member of the silver medal squad at the Canadian Nationals.

"Tessa is a physical player with good size. She will be used as a target player as we enter the attacking third of the field," said PJ Motsiff, Owner/General Manager of the Lynx. "She comes to the Lynx with excellent experience at Syracuse and in the British Columbia provincial program which is one of the strongest in Canada."

While at Syracuse Tessa started every match her freshman year. That year she was the Orange's leader in scoring and points. In 2008 Macdougall again started every match for her college team.
