Vanessa is a 2005 graduate of Bethlehem Central High School in Delmar, N.Y., While at Bethlehem Patry played varsity soccer for five years( One year while she was in Jr high!). During that time she finished her high school career with 239 points (82 g, 75 a). Her senior year alone she tallied 51 points (15 g, 21 a). Her soccer team was a 2000, 2003 and 2004 Section II New York State finalist and the 2002 champions.

Vanessa aas selected as All-New York State (three times), All-Suburban Council All-star (five times), All-Area (six times), adidas All-East (twice), Section II All-Star (three times), Section II Player of the Year, Suburban Council Player of the Year, Time Union Player of the Year, Troy Record Player of the Year and an NSCAA/adidas All-American.

For club soccer she played for the Capital United Premier Soccer club for eight years, including the 2003 National Director Cup finalists and the two-time New York State Cup finalists.

This past fall for UMass Amherst Vanessa started 17 out of 18 games as a freshman. In her short career there she has earned a goal and six assists. A sure sign of grat things to come.
