Adirondax Futsal Centre hosts Intra-Club Friendlies

On December 29th teams from Niskayuna, Saratoga and Burnt Hills joined Empire City and the Adirondack Lynx at the Lake George Forum for some friendly futsal matches.

The quick game of futsal led to some great competition over the course of the evening.  U10 girls all the way up to U17 boys got to play on the new sport court that was shipped to the Adirondax Futsal Centre by the North American Sports Group.  North American is the parent company of Kick it 3v3.  They have been partners with the Adirondack FC Training and Academy and have recently launched the Northeastern Clubs Development Association together to promote development over winning.

The friendly futsal matches had no referees and this allowed players to just play without the fear of making mistakes.  The players were able to take control of the game and have some fun with it as scores were not being kept.

The next event coming up for NECDA will be a tournament on Martin Luther King Jr. Day - January 18th.  Also scheduled for the Lake George Forum is the Adirondack FC training program which begins January 5 and runs through the start of February.  If you would like more information on the Futsal Programs contact PJ Motsiff at [email protected] or 518-466-0534.
